Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe.<\/p>\n<p>The general agreement paves the way for expanded cooperation centered on four key pillars: strengthening diplomatic relations, promoting bilateral trade, boosting investment, and, notably, the exchange of expertise and capacity building for Somali government institutions, leveraging Rwanda&#8217;s experience in reconstruction and institutional development.<\/p>\n<p>During the ministerial meeting, discussions also delved into advancing socio-economic cooperation and promoting the shared interests of the Somali and Rwandan people.<\/p>\n<p>Both sides highlighted the importance of unifying their efforts to contribute to the enhancement of peace, political stability, and economic growth throughout the East Africa region.<\/p>\n<p>Senior officials from both countries described the signing as a &#8220;historic step,&#8221; crucial for fostering a genuine and lasting partnership based on mutual respect and shared interests.
