National Army Provides Water Relief to Communities in Middle Shabelle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mogadishu (SONNA) \u2013 The Somali National Army (SNA) continues to serve not only on the frontlines against terrorism but also in supporting communities facing daily hardships.<\/p>\n<p>Elite Gor Gor Commandos, led by Colonel Saahid Farah Jama Jareer, Commander of the 1st Gor Gor Battalion, carried out a water distribution exercise for residents of Gumarre and Xagaay-deeg in Middle Shabelle region.<\/p>\n<p>Local communities expressed their gratitude to the soldiers for extending much-needed assistance and demonstrating state presence in their areas.<\/p>\n<p>The SNA leadership reiterated its dual commitment: defeating al Shabaab militants and assisting vulnerable civilians across
