This significant step marks a major milestone in the Ministry&#8217;s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education throughout Somalia.<\/p>\n<p>The examination, administered by the Somali National University (SNU), is a crucial component of the program designed to certify qualified educators. The first cohort, comprising teachers from the 2023 intake, is sitting for their final exams, signifying the completion of their two-year training. Meanwhile, the second cohort, enrolled in 2024, is advancing to the second year of the program.<\/p>\n<p>The training initiative is a direct response to the need for a skilled and professional teaching workforce. By providing a structured and standardized training pathway, the Ministry aims to create a pool of competent teachers capable of delivering high-quality education to students across the country.
