This year\u2019s moot focuses on resolving disputes related to open trade and cross-border conflicts, with particular emphasis on the African Continental Free Trade Area (#AfCFTA).<\/p>\n<p>In his keynote address, Ambassador Jabril underscored the importance of strengthening intra-African trade and finding African-led solutions to emerging challenges.<\/p>\n<p>The Ambassador also highlighted the significant role Somali entrepreneurs continue to play in Africa\u2019s trade landscape. \u201cSomali businesspeople have achieved great success in African trade, having learned to be open, responsive, and honest\u2014values that have positively influenced the wider business environment,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<p>The opening ceremony was also graced by prominent African figures, including Professor P.L.O.
