Salah Ahmed Jama, today received the newly appointed United Kingdom Ambassador to Somalia, Mr. Charles Nicholas King.<\/p>\n<p>The two officials held discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of security, politics, counter-terrorism, electoral development, and the acceleration of UK-supported development projects in Somalia.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Prime Minister briefed the ambassador on the government\u2019s recent achievements, including progress in the fight against Al-Shabaab and the implementation of one-person, one-vote elections.
