The students explored key installations within the Ministry\u2019s experimental farms, including modern greenhouses, soilless hydroponics systems, advanced seed testing sites, drip irrigation setups, and the Ministry\u2019s weather forecasting and data collection tools.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"992\" data-end=\"1262\">According to Ministry officials, the objective of the visit was to inspire Somali youth to utilize IoT applications to address critical challenges in the country\u2019s agricultural sector, including improving crop yields, optimizing resource use, and ensuring food security.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1457\" data-end=\"1733\">The IoT training program is part of a broader government strategy to promote innovation and digital transformation in key economic sectors.
