Lasanod, (SONNA) \u2013 The leader of SSC-Khaatumo, Mr. Abdiqadir Ahmed Aw-Cali, officially welcomed a high-level delegation from the Federal Government of Somalia during a working visit to Lasanod, the administrative capital of SSC-Khaatumo.<\/p>\n

The delegation was led by the Federal Minister of Commerce and Industry, Hon. Mahmoud Adan Gesood, and included Senator Zeynab Ismail Tiinbiye, a senior member of Somalia\u2019s Upper House of Parliament. The visit is part of ongoing efforts to accelerate the formation of a formal regional administration for SSC-Khaatumo, with the Federal Government reaffirming its full support for institution-building and stronger intergovernmental collaboration.<\/p>\n

Minister Gesood held meetings with SSC leadership, traditional elders, women leaders, and various community representatives, commending their role in promoting stability and advancing local governance in the region.<\/p>\n
