It has brought together representatives from EACO\u2019s five assemblies: regulators, postal operators, telecommunications operators, and internet service providers across the East African region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">This year\u2019s assembly marks a significant milestone for Somalia, which recently joined the East African Community (EAC). The participation of NCA Somalia underscores the country\u2019s commitment to harmonizing its communications policies and regulations with regional frameworks to promote integration and accelerate ICT development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">&#8220;Such events are important for NCA Somalia as we understand that communication is no longer confined within national boundaries \u2014 it now cuts across borders through roaming services, shared digital platforms, and transnational cybersecurity threats,&#8221;
