Mr. Abdisalan Abdi Ali Dhaay held bilateral talks with Kenya\u2019s Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, H.E. Mr. Musalia W. Mudavadi, on the sidelines of the FOCAC Ministers\u2019 Summit.<\/p>\n<p>The two sides discussed ways to deepen the longstanding cultural and socioeconomic ties between Somalia and Kenya, with a focus on enhancing regional peace, stability, and prosperity. Both ministers agreed to fast-track the convening of Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) meetings aimed at finalising key Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) across various sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Ali expressed his appreciation for Kenya\u2019s continued support over the past 25 years, particularly through the deployment of peacekeeping personnel under the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Mudavadi reaffirmed Kenya\u2019s commitment to good neighbourliness and reiterated Nairobi\u2019s dedication to strengthening bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>Also present at the meeting were Somalia\u2019s Ambassador to China, H.E. Mrs. Hodan Osman Abdi, and Kenya\u2019s Ambassador to China, H.E.
