Ahmed Issa Gutale, participated in the 21st Governing Board Meeting of the African Organization of English-speaking Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI-E), held in Mah\u00e9, Seychelles, from May 19\u201323, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by the Office of the Auditor General of Seychelles, the high-level summit focused on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing the 2020\u20132024 Strategic Plan;<\/li>\n<li>Launching the new 2025\u20132029 Strategic Plan aimed at strengthening audit impact, institutional independence, and regional cooperation;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting implementation of the African Professionalisation Initiative (API) to address skills shortages in Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs);<\/li>\n<li>Enhancing collaboration between SAIs and anti-corruption agencies to improve investigations and information sharing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The event also marked the 20th anniversary of AFROSAI-E, prompting a renewed call for Supreme Audit Institutions to serve as pillars of transparency, accountability, and sustainable development across the continent.<\/p>\n<p>Somalia\u2019s consistent participation in AFROSAI-E events reflects the growing role of its Office of the
