New York, (SONNA) – Finance Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Biixi Imaan Cige, officially presented a traditional Somali artifact \u2014 the Haan \u2014 to the World Bank during the closing ceremony of the IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings.<\/p>\n

This marks the first time in history that a symbol reflecting Somali culture has been displayed at the World Bank headquarters.<\/p>\n

The Haan, a traditional milk container, embodies the values of resilience, cooperation, and progress \u2014 key principles deeply rooted in Somali society.<\/p>\n
