Mogadishu, Somalia<\/em> \u2014 SONNA:<\/strong> The Commissioner of Somalia\u2019s Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mahmoud Moalim Abdulle, alongside the\u00a0Director of Health of the Somali National Army (SNA), Dr. Abdullahi Muse Ahmed, visited soldiers wounded in recent counterterrorism operations at the\u00a0Somali National Army Hospital.<\/p>\n

The officials met with troops injured during clashes with\u00a0Khawarij militants\u00a0(Al-Shabaab) in\u00a0Wargaadhi and Labi-goley, Middle Shabelle region, where government forces have intensified offensives.<\/p>\n

As part of the government\u2019s commitment to frontline troops, Abdulle\u2014a member of the\u00a0National Committee for Supporting the Fight Against Khawarij Groups\u2014handed over\u00a0first aid medicines and an ambulance\u00a0to the hospital\u2019s director,\u00a0Mr. Saadam Abdullahi Osman. The supplies will bolster medical care for soldiers engaged in ongoing operations.<\/p>\n

commissioner Abdulle commended the troops for their \u201cselfless role\u201d\u00a0in recent battles, acknowledging their gains against terrorism.\u00a0\u201cThe government is dedicated to enhancing healthcare and support for our brave soldiers,\u201d\u00a0he stated, reaffirming efforts to ensure proper treatment for the wounded.<\/p>\n

The visit shows Somalia\u2019s push to strengthen military medical services\u00a0as operations against Al-Shabaab continue. The SNA, alongside allied forces, has escalated ground and air strikes to reclaim militant-held territories.<\/p>\n
