Shire, was part of the official Somali delegation attending the 2025 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n<p>Representing Somalia, Mr. Shire participated in a high-level session of the African Consultative Group (ACG), held under the theme \u201cStrengthening Africa\u2019s Resilience.\u201d The session was opened by the IMF Managing Director, Ms. Kristalina Georgieva, and brought together senior officials from across the African continent.<\/p>\n<p>Key topics discussed during the consultative session included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The economic challenges impacting African economies;<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening regional trade and economic integration;<\/li>\n<li>Enhancing financial resilience in light of global economic shifts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Somalia\u2019s active participation in this global forum highlights its growing engagement in international economic development platforms.
