Mogadishu, (SONNA) \u2013 The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has extended a heartfelt congratulatory message to all units, commands, and ranks of the Somali National Army (SNA) on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of its founding.<\/p>\n
President Hassan Sheikh praised the Army\u2019s achievements in the ongoing fight against terrorism and the liberation of territories from extremist groups. He commended the unwavering dedication and sacrifice of the troops in defending the nation and ensuring a safer future for the next generation.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur forces have selflessly laid down their lives to protect our country and secure the future of our children. In recent years, they have made significant gains in combating terrorism, liberating key areas, and delivering heavy blows to anti-peace elements,\u201d the President said.<\/p>\n
