Ahmed Osman Diriye.<\/p>\n<p>The event featured expert presentations and panel discussions on critical topics, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Role of Government in Advancing AI<\/li>\n<li>Africa\u2019s AI Strategy 2024-2030<\/li>\n<li>AI and Internet Security<\/li>\n<li>Physical and Social Implications of AI<\/li>\n<li>AI Applications in Agriculture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, the conference spotlighted the role of higher education and research in achieving sustainable development and advancing Somalia\u2019s National AI Strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Closing the summit, Zamzam University President Mohammed Mohamud Harbi announced that the Somali Artificial Intelligence Forum would become an annual event. He emphasized its role in monitoring progress in AI technologies and fostering societal adaptation to technological advancements.<\/p>\n<p>The summit also served as a platform for Somali policymakers and technology experts to deliberate on leveraging AI to address the country\u2019s socio-economic challenges.<\/p>\n<p>In his closing remarks, Hon.
