The Minister of Education, Farah Sheikh Abdulqadir, highlighted the significance of this milestone during the opening ceremony of the entrance examination.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Abdulqadir emphasized that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the university\u2019s re-establishment following its collapse. He noted that 3,924 students sat for the exam, reflecting a growing interest in higher education among Somali youth. The Minister also announced that the university will be enhancing its faculty with new teachers specializing in languages and technical subjects to ensure robust foundational training for incoming students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe students must prepare themselves for an international stage,\u201d Minister Abdulqadir urged, stressing the importance of readiness and adaptability in a global academic environment.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Hassan Osman Ga\u2019al, President of the Somali National University, expressed the institution\u2019s commitment to excellence. He stated that the university aims to extend its reach to all regions of Somalia, ensuring accessibility without financial barriers.
