This move has been described as a significant threat to Somalia\u2019s national security and sovereignty.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia revealed that two armed vehicles crossed the Ethiopian border into Puntland without any prior diplomatic communication, directly violating Somalia\u2019s sovereignty.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry highlighted that this is not an isolated incident. Previous illegal arms shipments from Ethiopia have been reported, with deliveries made to cities in the Galmudug Regional Government and by air to Baidoa in the South-West Regional Administration.<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Government of Somalia has called for an immediate cessation of these illegal arms activities, warning that such actions could severely undermine regional peace and stability.
