The meeting discussed the country’s situation, particularly the security and the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorists, the constitution and the elections of the country, and also the projects implemented by the UN in Galmudug State.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to express the deep concern of the UN in Somalia in regard to the recent, serious clan violence in some areas of Galmudug. We extend our condolences to the bereaved. I commend President Ahmed for his swift action to establish a regional ministerial mediation committee to help resolve the conflict,\u201d Mr. Swan said.<\/p>\n
