Alex Dinkla, a spokesperson with the Iowa State Patrol, during an evening press conference in Greenfield.<\/div>\n<div class=\"article-body__element__2p5pI\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"text__text__1FZLe text__dark-grey__3Ml43 text__regular__2N1Xr text__small__1kGq2 body__full_width__ekUdw body__small_body__2vQyf article-body__paragraph__2-BtD\" data-testid=\"paragraph-3\">&#8220;We can confirm there have been multiple fatalities with this tornado.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"paragraph-4\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"text__text__1FZLe text__dark-grey__3Ml43 text__regular__2N1Xr text__small__1kGq2 body__full_width__ekUdw body__small_body__2vQyf article-body__paragraph__2-BtD\" data-testid=\"paragraph-4\">Dinkla did not provide a death toll, but said it may not be before Wednesday that figures could be provided.<\/div>\n<div class=\"text__text__1FZLe text__dark-grey__3Ml43 text__regular__2N1Xr text__small__1kGq2 body__full_width__ekUdw body__small_body__2vQyf article-body__paragraph__2-BtD\" data-testid=\"paragraph-5\">At least a dozen people in Greenfield, a town of about 2,000 people, were injured in the twister, Dinkla said.
