Mogadishu, Somalia, SONNA)\u2013: The Ministry of Health and Human Services Federal Republic of Somalia and the British Embassy signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on a health project to improve maternal and child health services on Monday.<\/p>\n

The Better Lives project will be implemented by UNICEF in Jubaland, Galmudug, and Banadir regions.<\/p>\n

The agreement was signed by the Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Somalia, Dr. Ali Haji Adan, and the British Ambassador to Somalia, Lottie Burrows.<\/p>\n

The agreement will provide funding for the Better Lives project, which will focus on improving access to quality maternal and child health services in Somalia.<\/p>\n

The agreement between Somalia and the UK is a significant step forward in improving maternal and child health in Somalia. The Better Lives project will help to save lives and improve the health of mothers and children in Somalia.<\/p>\n

Dr. Ali Haji Adan expressed his gratitude to the UK government for their support of this important project.<\/p>\n
