with the Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Somalia Ed Barnett.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">They discussed how to enhance the current support provided to the Somali National\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">Army in\u00a0the fight against terrorism and the importance of enhancing their capacity and capabilities to combat Al-Shabaab terrorists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">They also discussed the importance of lifting the arms embargo and its importance as we intensify the operations to eradicate Khawarij Al-Shabaab<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">The Minister thanked the UK government <\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">for their continued support in these crucial areas and their commitment to providing more support to the ongoing efforts to
