Mogadishu(SONNA)-Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, H.E. Fei Shengchao on Tuesday had a constructive dialogue with Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia.<\/p>\n

The two sides emphasized respect for each other\u2019s sovereignty, independence and\u00a0 territorial integrity, and exchanged views on economic development business cooperation.<\/p>\n

Last week, Mr. Shengchao also met Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia, H.E. Mahdi Mohamed Guled.\u00a0 “We have discussed issues of common interest. The two countries enjoy strong friendly relationship”, Mr. Guled said in twitter post at the time.<\/p>\n

On September 7, 2021,\u00a0 The new Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, Fei Shengchao presented\u00a0 his diplomatic document and a massage of greeting from H.E. Xi Jinping to President Farmajo, noting that he would promote the historic relations of mutual benefits and respect between the countries.<\/p>\n

Mr. Shengchao thanked the President and the Somali people for the warm welcome.<\/p>\n

President Farmajo congratulated the Chinese Ambassador for new the job, sharing that his Government is committed to enhancing friendly relations between the countries and peoples.<\/p>\n
