{"id":398200,"date":"2020-05-01T15:12:42","date_gmt":"2020-05-01T12:12:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sonna.so\/en\/?p=398200"},"modified":"2020-05-01T15:27:20","modified_gmt":"2020-05-01T12:27:20","slug":"somali-government-we-must-unite-to-fight-against-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sonna.so\/en\/somali-government-we-must-unite-to-fight-against-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Somali Government: We must unite to fight against Covid-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Mogadishu(SONNA)-<\/strong>The Federal Government of Somalia is currently involved in two wars.<br \/>\nThe first is one that the people of Somalia are all too familiar with, The al-Qaida puppet<br \/>\norganization that called itself al-Shabaab have murdered and terrorized the people of Somalia for<br \/>\nyears.<\/p>\n<p>The brave men and women of the Somali National Army have valiantly fought alongside<br \/>\ntheir East African brothers and sisters to push this group out of Somalia city by city and town after<br \/>\ntown. These repeated setbacks in the field have made al-Shabaab desperate to discredit the Federal<br \/>\nGovernment, and so they have decided to use the Coronavirus pandemic as an opportunity to spread<br \/>\nlies and misinformation.<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Government of Somalia rejects these lies and is closely working with the religious, military, and local leaders of our community to spread the truth.<\/p>\n<p>Coronavirus is a disease that does not see religion, country, or race and attacks the most vulnerable<br \/>\nof our communities the hardest. While the Federal Government led by the Ministry of Health is<br \/>\nfighting daily to ensure that all Somalis are protected against this disease, each citizen of Somalia<br \/>\nmust do their part to follow guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and to combat false<br \/>\ninformation that could lead to a further spread of the disease.<\/p>\n<p>Our brothers and sisters around the world from the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem to Mecca are taking precautions to minimize the services because they know that they must protect the people in their community.
