Somali Army Chief Inspects Naval Forces Headquarters

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Commander of the Somali National Army, Brigadier General Ibrahim Mohamed Mohamud, conducted a working visit to the headquarters of the Somali Navy, where he reviewed the overall situation and ongoing activities of the naval forces.

The Army Chief received briefings from senior Navy commanders and officers on efforts to accelerate operations, improve performance and strengthen the forces’ capacity to fulfil their national responsibilities.

He also visited the Horseed Club Sports Complex, reviewing its activities and role in promoting sports and community engagement.

Brig. Gen. Ibrahim urged Navy leadership and officers to strengthen cooperation, discipline and operational readiness to enhance the forces’ ability to carry out their assigned national duties.
