President Hassan Sheikh lays foundation stone for new Ministry of Environment headquarters

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud today laid the foundation stone for the new headquarters of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. The new building is an important step in strengthening the Ministry and improving the services it delivers to the public.

The new headquarters will include modern offices, meeting and training halls, and green spaces that promote environmental conservation. It will strengthen the Ministry’s capacity to protect the environment, address climate change, and work closely with partners.
