President Hassan Sheikh Meets Somali Business Delegation in El-Alamein

El-Alamein, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, met with a Somali business delegation led by the Chairman of the Somali Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Yasin Mahmoud Ibar, in the city of El-Alamein, Egypt.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Commerce and Industry of Somalia, H.E. Ambassador Gamal Mohamed Hassan, and the Ambassador of the Somali Embassy in Egypt, H.E. Ambassador Ali Abdi Aware.

The meeting focused on the reform efforts being undertaken by the Somali Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the general challenges facing Somali traders, and ways to strengthen cooperation and collaboration between the government and the business community.
