Minister of Family Congratulates Top Somali Girls Among Secondary School Exam Performers

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Family and Human Rights Development of the Federal Government of Somalia, Ambassador Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi, has warmly congratulated Somali girls who ranked among the top performers in the national secondary school certificate examination, describing their achievement as a source of great joy and pride for Somali women.
The Minister noted that six of the ten students who achieved the highest ranks in the examination, which was taken by more than 40,000 students, are girls. She said the achievement clearly reflects the active role Somali girls play in education and society.
Ambassador Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi also expressed special appreciation to Somali parents who understand the importance of girls’ education to society, noting that the achievement demonstrates the results of efforts to raise awareness and expand educational opportunities for Somali girls.
The Minister urged Somali girls to continue their efforts and education so they can play a significant role in the country’s development in the future, while once again extending her congratulations and praise to all the successful girls.
“Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations. May Somali women succeed.”
