Interior Minister Arrives in Jowhar Ahead of Hirshabelle Leadership Election

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali (Hosh), arrived in Jowhar, the capital of Hirshabelle State, ahead of the state’s upcoming leadership election.

The Minister was accompanied by other Federal Government ministers and senior government officials.

H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali is expected to attend the election ceremony and engage with Hirshabelle authorities and community representatives.

The visit underscores the Federal Government’s efforts to strengthen federal-state cooperation and support Somalia’s ongoing state-building process.
