Defence Minister, SNA Chief Visit Danab Commandos in Galkayo to Boost Morale

Galkayo, (SONNA) — The Minister of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, accompanied by the Chief of Defence Forces of the Somali National Armed Forces (SNAF), Brigadier General Ibrahim Mohamed Mohamud, today visited the SNAF Danab Commando base in Galkayo.

The Minister commended the personnel for their dedicated service to the nation, praising their commitment and sacrifice in carrying out their national duties. He urged them to further strengthen their efforts to safeguard the security and stability of the country.

For his part, the Chief of Defence Forces urged the personnel to remain true to the oath and commitment they had made and to fully discharge the duties entrusted to them.

The visit by the Minister and the Chief of Defence Forces forms part of ongoing efforts to inspect and encourage SNAF personnel deployed across areas of Galmudug State.
