Mogadishu, August 12, 2017…. The deputy Prime Minister of Somalia His Excellence Mahdi Mohamed Gulled [Khadar] has on Saturday attended an event for the commemoration of World Youth Day, which is celebrated the 12th of August every year.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Federal Government of Somalia, and was attended by Members of the Upper and the Lower Houses, members from the UN agencies and the Youth Organizations in Somalia
The Minister of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Federal Government of Somalia MP Khadija Mohamed Diiriye has congratulated the entire Somalia Youths, and said that her Ministry is prepared clear plans to develop the future of the Somali Youths, and will surely revive their hopes, she has also pointed out that the first time the Ministry has established a youth policy to guide the Youth, which will make easy them be part and represent and any role available.
The Deputy Prime Minister, has expressed his feelings and said that he is excited to attend such a colourful event for the Somali Youth, the motto of this year’s even is “building the Somali Youths”, the deputy Prime Minister has sent congratulations to the entire Youths in the World in particular to the Somali Youths.
“The is no country which can develop without the strength it needs and I confess that the Somalia Youths are the only the strength which our country is proud of, therefore our Youths should feel that we they are the leaders of today” said Khader the deputy Prime Minister.
In the conclusion of his speech His Excellency Khader has promised that will work on the motivation of the Youths, enhancing their future, to create job opportunities and has suggested for the Somalis to unify their good concepts.
